Here’s a brief outline of the steps we follow:
– Phase one: Planning your shed
Before you build a shed, you have to decide what you need. ShedEx Fleurieu starts phase one by helping you design your ideal shed. Our skilled team will discuss your requirements and determine precisely what will work best for you and your budget.
After we have worked with you to design your building, the process begins to create your shed or garage. We will let you know the costs involved with your particular project (we never claim to be the cheapest but we definitely offer quality sheds and great value for money). Next, we sign a contract and get started on your project.
To ensure your shed stands strong for many years, independent structural engineers will sign off on the site-specific plans and drawings. We’ll also get hold of the necessary sewage and waterworks diagrams and submit all of our documents to the local council on your behalf – including paying the fees. There are no worries about dealing with council; ShedEx Fleurieu will do all those steps for you.
– Phase two: Ordering
We’ll order what we need in terms of materials and arrange to have everything delivered to your site in a timely fashion. If we need to, we’ll store the materials in our own secure depot until building gets underway.
With planning and ordering taken care of, work can begin for real in phase three.
– Phase three: Construction
When a suitable construction schedule is in place, phase three starts and your shed will start to take shape! We will arrange the necessary earthworks, pour the concrete slab and build your shed. We use quality tin and ensure you have a 15-year COLORBOND® warranty.
