We are thrilled to present the magnificent new stables built by ShedEx Fleurieu for the beloved Clydesdales of the Victor Harbor Horse Drawn Tram. The nine gentle giants, Albert, Elliot, Murray, Archer, Finn, Leo, Isabella, Norman and Scotty, can now enjoy an unparalleled level of comfort and luxury, thanks to their new bespoke stables.
Designed with the utmost attention to detail, these stables offer more than an acre of living area for training, and two hectares of lush, green grazing pasture. We understand that these Clydesdales are not just horses – they are cherished members of our community. Therefore, every step has been taken to provide an environment that is both nurturing and enjoyable for them.
The stables themselves are a marvel of design and functionality. The overall dimensions of this building measures 15 metres wide and 20.3 metres long, providing ample space for each Clydesdale to move freely. The 3-metre wall height ensures a spacious interior, with an overall height of 5 metres to the apex.
Moreover, the roller door on the tack and feed rooms ensures that these areas remain sealed from the weather and vermin, preserving the quality of the horses’ food and gear.
But the facility doesn’t just stop at housing the Clydesdales. It also includes a state-of-the-art meeting room and office space (not built by ShedEx). Overlooking the picturesque view of nature, this space offers an unrivalled professional environment for hire. Whether you’re planning a behind the scenes tour, team meeting, a workshop, or a corporate event, this venue provides a unique setting that blends professionalism with the tranquillity of nature.
At ShedEx Fleurieu, our aim has always been to provide solutions that are practical, reliable, and high quality. This project embodies these values, and we couldn’t be more proud to have been a part of it. We invite you to visit Canton Place to see first-hand the exceptional new living arrangements for Albert, Elliot, Murray, Archer, Finn, Leo, Isabella, Norman and Scotty.
