We’re locals. We build for locals. And we give back to the community that shaped us.
For us, supporting the Fleurieu isn’t something extra — it’s part of who we are.
This region raised us, supported our family business, and trusted us with their homes, farms, clubs, and local projects since 2005.
Giving back is simply our way of keeping that circle going.
We Support:
Community is where belonging starts, and that’s what we’re here to build.
1. We back the people who make the Fleurieu what it is.
Local clubs, schools, volunteer groups, and community projects all play a role in keeping our region strong. When they put their hand up, we show up — whether that’s sponsorship, helping improve facilities, or lending support behind the scenes.
2. We help build spaces that bring communities together.
Sheds, clubrooms, storage spaces, workshops, and commercial builds — these are often the heart of a local group. We design and construct community structures the same way we build for families: properly, safely, and with long-term value in mind.
3. We support small businesses because they’re the backbone of the region.
Strong local business = strong local community.
Michael’s involvement with Business Victor Harbor and regional advocacy means we’re actively pushing for better outcomes for small operators — from reducing red tape to securing support during tough times.
And when we build, we prioritise local trades, suppliers, and families wherever we can. Keeping money and opportunities in the Fleurieu matters.
Where You’ll See Us in the Community
We’re proud to support a wide range of clubs, groups, and organisations across the Fleurieu, including:
• Rotary Club of Victor Harbor
We’ve been proud supporters of the Rotary Victor Harbor Annual Art Show since 2006, and you’ll often spot the ShedEx crew volunteering at Rotary fundraising events throughout the year. It’s one of the many ways we stay connected and give back to the people who make this region special.
• Encounter Bay Cricket Club
Supporting facilities and opportunities that keep local sport thriving year after year.
• Victor Harbor Horse Tram & Clydesdales
A true South Coast icon. We’ve proudly supported their infrastructure needs, including purpose-built stables and shed spaces.
• Local Contractors, Apprentices & Young Workers
We’re committed to a strong, respectful local workforce — with proper training, safe sites, and real opportunities for growth.
• Local Community Events & Projects
From fundraisers to school initiatives, we quietly help where we can. When the community calls, we pitch in.
Why It Matters to Us
Many of our earliest memories were made in sheds, clubrooms, and community spaces built by locals — birthdays, family gatherings, working bees, sport, you name it.
Those places brought people together. They created belonging. They shaped our childhoods and our families.
So now, when we build or support a community project, we’re not just putting up walls and roofs.
We’re helping create the next generation of those memories.
And that’s why we’ll always show up for the Fleurieu.
Want to Work With Us on a Community Project?
If your club, school, sporting group, or community organisation is working on something that benefits the region, we’d love to hear from you.

At ShedEx Fleurieu, we believe in creating structures that are not only practical and durable but also provide comfort and luxury. Our latest project, the new stables at Canton Place for the Victor Harbor Horse Drawn Tram, is a testament to this belief.
